Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Associated Materials is seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving financial performance through effective budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes for Alside, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
  • Analyze results to identify opportunities for improvement and partner with the business to drive improvements.
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis, reports, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Drive the development of key performance indicators and track and monitor performance.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within a large organization.
  • Experience working closely with senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with tools such as Hyperion, Oracle, or PowerBI is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate an FP&A team.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
