Job Title: Director, Financial Planning and Analysis

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, to join our team at Smurfit Westrock. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial planning and analysis processes that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business opportunities and risks
  • Design and implement financial planning and analysis processes to drive business growth and profitability
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business strategy and decision-making
  • Lead and develop a team of financial analysts to support financial planning and analysis activities
Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Expertise in Hyperion consolidation and ability to develop and deploy complex Excel financial models
  • Experience with Vena and Alteryx, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create compelling and informative presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to influence and work proactively across the organization without formal reporting lines
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and develop others, instilling a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
