Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Account Executive to manage a territory and achieve established sales and gross profit targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a territory and achieve established sales and gross profit targets
- Develop a pipeline, forecast, solicit, secure orders from potential and existing customers
- Provide customer service as needed
- Pro-actively, efficiently, and profitably control the sales cycle
- Manage and optimize assigned territory to achieve assigned revenue, share of wallet, business mix, and new customer goals
- Create comprehensive sales/business plan to cover all potential customers within assigned territory
- Emphasize Q1 schools in assigned territory
- Meet or exceed established sales goals
- Build customer loyalty by developing strong, long-lasting relationships with all decision makers within customer's organization
- Perform sales presentations and product demonstrations to promote products and services
- Ensure knowledge base of company's suite of offerings and industry knowledge is up to date
- Prepare quotes/proposals in accordance with company policy and ensuring healthy gross profit margins
- Manage customer expectations throughout the sales cycle
- Ensure placement of company on bid and/or qualified supplier lists for appropriate markets
- Place Bluum in all major industry trade shows
- Prepare sales forecasts/budgets and progress reports to RVP in compliance with company guidelines
- Ensure ethical use of company funds when traveling or incurring expenses in support of company-related business
- Attend bid openings and provide corporate office with tabulation information
- Annual attendance at the company's National Sales Meeting
Requirements:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals, financial reports, professional journals, general business periodicals, government regulations, and legal documents
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

- Persistence and strong interpersonal skills
