We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Distribution Technology to join our esteemed Engineering and Technology team at UnChained. This role combines strategic leadership and hands-on technical expertise to drive innovation and implement our Salesforce and Distribution solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Show a demonstrable understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Tableau Server, CRM Analytics, and Data Cloud.
  • Provide references to multiple large-scale projects that were successfully delivered.
  • Create and implement a detailed strategy for the Salesforce platform, including architecture design, development, integration, and maintenance.
  • Lead design sessions, document solutions, identify gaps, and manage custom development, integrations, and data migration.
  • Design scalable and flexible Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, ensure security, and adhere to standard methodologies for platform optimization.
  • Guide continuous optimization of the Salesforce platform to improve performance, usability, and user experience.
  • Stay ahead of emerging Salesforce technologies and industry trends to find opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Salesforce technical team, encouraging a culture of teamwork, excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to comprehend requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align them with organizational goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in Salesforce platform development, implementation, and administration.
  • Proven track record of effectively leading large-scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, capabilities, and ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Tableau Server, CRM Analytics, and Data Cloud.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Salesforce Certified Application Architect, or Salesforce Certified System Architect preferred.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that drive business value.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience with Optimizely or a similar Digital Experience platform.
  • Demonstrable experience working effectively in a heavily distributed environment.
  • Experience with the asset management industry.
