VMD Corp: Cybersecurity Operations Manager

About the Mission: Support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) in shaping and implementing its cyberspace strategy and policy.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Support:



  • Assist in the development and coordination of the DAF's cyber and information technology strategy and supporting policies
  • Track progress towards strategic goals and provide regular updates

Administrative Support:



  • Provide overarching guidance and processes for unifying the DAF's information technology and cyberspace initiatives
  • Support the organization of the cyber workforce, including training and educating Airmen and Guardians

Coordination and Briefing:



  • Provide required support to effectively manage the cyber workforce from accession through departure from the DAF
  • Brief senior leaders on a recurring basis to ensure the DAF CIO's objectives are met

Guidance and Tracking:



  • Provide guidance on the articulation, coordination, and tracking of strategic activities, including dashboards, metrics, and scorecards
  • Assist in the formal staffing of the strategy in support of the DAF CIO's intent

Requirements:



  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in office software and tools such as MS Office, Task Management Tool (TMT) or ETMS2 or similar
