About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and respond to service calls from our Service Resource Center, including diagnosing equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Contact customers to ascertain equipment/system problems and provide solutions.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and operational product manuals.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by communicating effectively with district staff and customers.
  • Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements and obtain customer signatures.
  • Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET Level II certification.
