About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fire Sprinkler System Technician. In this role, you will assist in the service and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, working closely with our Lead Fire Sprinkler Fitter to ensure the systems are fully functional and operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing repairs, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler systems and associated devices
  • Learn and follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals and documentation to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Complete inspection reports and repair documents with proper coding
  • Follow and maintain a structured service schedule
  • Perform duties with safety as the top priority

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service
  • Able to work well with others and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
  • Basic computer skills and smartphone proficiency
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 70 lbs
  • Able to work flexible hours, including alternate shifts or weekends
  • Able to adhere to and implement safety guidelines and procedures
  • Able to participate in and successfully complete the apprenticeship program
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
  • Understanding of the importance of providing quality service and inspection support
  • Experience with hand tools
