The Future Manufacturing Enterprise Team:

The Future Manufacturing Enterprise Team was established as a SWAT group to entrepreneurially seek white space growth opportunities in the Business 4.0TM ecosystem, drive strategic growth, and elevate market positioning for the Business Group.

One such strategic area identified is CASE Automotive Business (Connected Autonomous Shared & Electric Automotive Business).

CASE Automotive Business:

Connected & Autonomous Cars is one of the most exciting things happening in the industry today, with the convergence of technology - software & hardware, IT, and Automotive Engineering to create a true Business 4.0TM ecosystem.

The industry value chain has expanded beyond Automotive to cover Technology, Media & Communication, Insurance, Telecom, and many others, with touchpoints from the Connected Car to the Connected Customer, Connected Home, and potentially the Connected Workplace.

The CASE Auto Business team has chosen five key business focal points or 'Product Tracks', which are CASE Auto Academy & Practice, Autonomous Vehicle Development, Vehicle to Ecosystem Services, Fleet Business Services, and Electric Vehicle & Battery Systems Business, each under a designated Product Manager.

Responsibilities:

The focus is on global capability & capacity build-up that can drive multi-fold growth over the next three years.

The key expectations on this role include:

  • Position Tephra as a 'Trusted Advisor' and 'Partner' with the customer
  • Continuously scan the market environment for white spaces and growth opportunities - identify, validate, and build a business case for Intellectual Property
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business strategies of the customers, competitive landscape, and technology preferences; implications for Tephra
  • Drive Business Growth - Connect with a portfolio of customers to drive revenue growth; participate in responses to key RFPs
  • Partnerships
  • Practice Capability Building - Participate in defining & building industry-leading capabilities
  • Team Building - Attract talent from the market, mentor & coach them

The said role will partner with the Product Manager and complement them with industry-leading skills & expertise, business connects, and insights to shape the business by deploying the strategy and driving growth in line with the company's expectations.

They are expected to establish strategic capability in the area of practice. May be expected to lead strategic client programs in part or full from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • Automotive industry experience from OEM / Tier 1 with global brands
  • Hands-on experience in relevant areas of business applied for
  • Has provided leadership to at-least one relevant program in the space
  • Demonstrated ability to work at CX / VP levels in organizations
  • Deep appreciation of technology, especially digital technologies especially AI-ML, Cloud etc.
  • Conversant with start-up ecosystem in automotive business
  • Recognized Industry Expert / Established Credentials
  • Strong Communication Skills, as evidenced in speaking engagements / publications
  • Organizational building expertise

The aspirants must be willing to operate in flat organization structures and across functional teams to leverage the best of capabilities available for a given requirement.

Project teams will be formed of right-skilled consultants & technologists on a need basis.
