The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly skilled Member Support Specialist to join our team at the Bon Air office. As a key member of our front-line team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences, ensuring seamless in-office interactions, and providing top-notch support to our patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use impeccable communication skills to provide a positive in-office experience for patients
  • Manage patient intake, same-day scheduling, and follow-up appointments with precision and care
  • Stay up-to-date on billing and insurance information to ensure accurate and efficient patient care
  • Monitor patient feedback and assist with outreach as needed
  • Contribute to team development through rounding, team huddles, and problem-solving
  • Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System, to interact with team members and patients
  • Perform opening and closing duties, daily office upkeep, and maintain the look and feel of patient and employee-facing spaces

What You'll Need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working on collaborative, diverse, and feedback-driven teams
  • A proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward-thinking perspective, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges
  • Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously

Physical Demands:

This role requires mostly sedentary work duties, with occasional exertion of up to ten pounds of force and/or small amounts of force frequently. Sedentary work typically involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
