Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-STEMI patients, post-cardiac cath patients, and patients undergoing vascular procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellent patient outcomes.
- Current state RN license and associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
- Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date.
- NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
