About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Unit at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized care to post STEMI patients, post Cardiac Cath care, and post vascular procedure patients
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize critical thinking skills and decisive judgment to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements
  • A current state RN license and an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, with the ability to obtain within 90 and 6 months, respectively
  • NIHSS Certification and arrhythmia exam completion within 90 days
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
