Your role will involve managing reservations, answering phone inquiries, and efficiently seating guests in a manner that aligns with their preferences.


Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests with warmth and professionalism upon their arrival
- Manage coat and bag check services
- Handle phone calls, make reservations, and take messages as needed
- Provide guests with estimated wait times when immediate seating is unavailable
- Keep track of waiting guests and seat them promptly as tables become available
- Maintain a courteous demeanor, even in challenging situations with guests
- Accommodate special seating requests whenever feasible
- Balance customer flow in service stations while seating guests
- Communicate guest preferences and notes to servers and management
- Ensure the host stand is well-stocked and organized according to operational standards
- Print and maintain menus and beverage lists
- Clean menus to ensure a tidy presentation
- Thank guests upon their departure and encourage their return
- Process gift card transactions
- Assist in various capacities to support the smooth operation of the restaurant as directed by management

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- A pleasant demeanor and professional appearance
- Self-driven with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours)
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, along with bending and reaching as necessary
