Position Title: Humanities Teacher for Grades 9 and 10

Position Overview:

  • Deliver instruction across five to six class periods
  • Oversee an extracurricular program
  • Design and implement curriculum-aligned unit and lesson plans
  • Assess and evaluate student assignments
  • Provide coverage for absent educators
  • Engage in instructional coaching practices
  • Participate in professional development conferences
  • Offer personalized support to students
  • Contribute to the school's spiritual and religious initiatives
  • Attend faculty and staff meetings

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 24 credit hours in the primary teaching subject
  • A minimum of 12 credit hours in educational theory and practice
  • At least two years of teaching experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, colleagues, and the community

Compensation Package:

  • This is a full-time role with benefits. Salary will be determined based on educational background and experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Engage with students, staff, and visitors
  • Utilize a desk and computer for extended periods
