The U.S. Air Force Central Command's Network Operations and Security Center (AFCENT NOSC) provides comprehensive information technology (IT) services management and operations for AFCENT networks around the clock. Tasked by USCENTCOM, the center ensures information assurance (IA) through boundary intrusion detection and prevention for USCENTCOM components. The AFCENT NOSC encompasses operations, support, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support functions, planning, engineering, installing, integrating, operating, maintaining, and managing extensive network and systems architecture, infrastructure, and services. Additionally, the center deploys personnel to various locations to install, integrate, upgrade, and sustain its supported enterprise networks, systems, and services during steady state, contingency, and emergency operations. AFCENT/A6 has engaged NOSC IT support services to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of its mission in a dynamic technological, geopolitical, and military landscape.
Key Responsibilities

V2X is in search of a Technical Advisor / Site Lead to provide support for the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This role is contingent upon the successful award of the contract to V2X.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • DCWF KSAT Category: 651.
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), ITIL Foundation, and Trainer (Microsoft, Cisco, or Military equivalent).
  • A minimum of 10 years of pertinent IT experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience as a Technical Advisor / Site Lead.
  • Experience in IT Operations / Services Management, Training, and Firewall management.
  • Expertise in Network, Systems, and Cybersecurity engineering.
