Job Summary:

The Software System Support Engineer will provide software-agnostic field support for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, and technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems.

Field services include engineering and technical administration, embedded data services, and analytical support and mentorship for workflow development, data source integration, and expert utilization of multiple software capabilities to solve information challenges.

The services will take place across the SIE, including Tactical Local Area Networks and other Department of Defense military hardware and End User Devices.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide software-agnostic field support for forward-deployed users of operational, advanced analytic intelligence support, and technical and analytical mission planning and execution systems.
  2. Perform engineering and technical administration, embedded data services, and analytical support and mentorship for workflow development, data source integration, and expert utilization of multiple software capabilities.
  3. Support the development and implementation of tactical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides.
  4. Collaborate with the assigned Component's operations and tactics teams to ensure seamless integration of services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline.
  • Minimum of two (2) years, within the last eight (8) years, operational experience with/or supporting the assigned Component.
  • Minimum of five (5) years operational experience with or supporting an organization's navigation and mission planning techniques, communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques.
  • Experience with the assigned Component's tactical SOP and mission guides.
  • Knowledgeable of assigned Components operations and tactics.
  • ACTIVE Secret Clearance with TS Eligibility required for all locations.
