Job Title: Project Accountant

At Grace Pacific Corp, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and integrity of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; accounting degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Aptitude to learn in-house systems and software.
