Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Cook to join our team at Levy, a leading provider of food and beverage services. As a Lead Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items to ensure high-quality and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates and ensure that all menu items are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including entrees, sides, and desserts, following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, and refrigerators, to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Store and label food items according to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of food supply.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing all required documentation, reports, and logs.
  • Assist in the cross-training of employees and provide guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Proven track record of preparing and cooking high-quality menu items.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and food safety procedures.
