Position Overview:
As a key member of Layton Dairy, the Training Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the training initiatives for both new and existing personnel. This role ensures that all essential training standards are fulfilled and documented, while embodying the company's core values of respect, integrity, diversity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate safety training programs to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Guarantee that all required training is completed annually, with accurate record-keeping.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and Safety Training for all types of associates.
  • Organize and manage training sessions for plant staff.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures for various roles.
  • Assess and verify knowledge and skills to ensure understanding of critical procedures and regulations.
  • Track and manage all training documentation, including safety records and employee performance metrics.
  • Provide assistance to the Safety Coordinator as necessary.
  • Adhere to established protocols to ensure the production of safe, high-quality products that meet all regulatory and company standards.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
  • Uphold the principles of Food Safety and Quality as outlined by Layton Dairy.
  • Must be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Proficient presentation and group facilitation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation:
Starting at $19.00 per hour
