Are you a Licensed Practical Nurse looking to expand your horizons? We are seeking a Regional LPN to support our facilities in the area.
As a Regional LPN, you will provide essential nursing support to designated facilities within your region. At each location, you will deliver skilled nursing care to residents, collaborating with registered nursing staff and supervising Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure exceptional care is provided.

Key Responsibilities1. Oversee daily nursing operations within a designated unit or wing.
2. Implement nursing techniques to ensure resident comfort and well-being; assess each resident daily to monitor their status and support their highest level of functioning.
3. Prepare necessary equipment and assist physicians during rounds.
4. Administer prescribed medications and treatments, ensuring proper handling and storage of pharmaceuticals.
5. Monitor residents' responses to medications and treatments.
6. Document and report changes in residents' conditions to supervisors and attending physicians.
7. Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with policy requirements.
8. Guide and instruct CNAs, assigning daily tasks to achieve positive outcomes for residents.
9. Ensure compliance with established policies and safe work practices.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure follow-up actions are taken.
11. Communicate effectively with oncoming shifts regarding changes in resident status and care needs.
12. Contribute to performance evaluations for CNAs and provide coaching as necessary.
13. Recommend staffing and supply needs to the Director of Nursing Services.
14. Capture charges for supplies utilized by residents within the unit.
15. Engage in the care planning process and ensure nursing components are implemented.
16. Uphold residents' rights and coordinate with other departments to facilitate resident participation in activities.
17. Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Director of Nursing Services.
18. Must be willing to travel to various facilities within the region.
19. Availability for overtime and extended shifts may be required.
Qualifications1. Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license from the State Board of Nursing.
2. Ability to lead and motivate team members effectively.
3. Flexibility to adapt to a variety of duties and changing work schedules.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to service.
5. Valid driver's license and current auto insurance are required.
