Harmony Holistic Veterinary Care is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian. Our practice specializes in integrative veterinary medicine for small animals. With a spacious facility featuring six examination rooms and nearly 15,000 square feet, we prioritize client involvement to ensure comfort for both pets and their owners. By incorporating various medical approaches, we provide numerous alternatives such as vaccine titers, acupuncture, laser therapy, Chinese herbal medicine, and nutritional consultations to ensure optimal care for our patients. We are equipped with IDEXX laboratory technology and collaborate with eight universities to enhance our testing capabilities. We are looking for a DVM who can deliver compassionate care and maintain a calming atmosphere to alleviate stress for both patients and clients.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Enhance client experience through excellent service
  • Collaborate effectively with Hospital Manager and Medical Director
  • Deliver high-quality, gold standard veterinary care
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat animals presenting for medical attention
  • Perform necessary surgical procedures, including routine and complex surgeries
  • Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventive care plans
  • Advise pet owners on health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellness
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays and blood work to formulate treatment plans
  • Maintain thorough patient medical records and documentation
  • Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care as required
  • Evaluate patient health using both conventional and alternative diagnostic methods
  • Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in integrative veterinary medicine
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Valid and active veterinary license in Arizona
  • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Time management and delegation capabilities
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and exemplary decision-making
  • Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions
