Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our team at Harmony Veterinary Care. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical care to our patients, working collaboratively with our experienced veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care through examination, diagnosis, and treatment of animals brought into our clinic or hospital for medical care.
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed, including routine spay/neuter operations and more complex surgeries.
  • Prescribe and administer medications, treatments, and preventative care plans to ensure the health and well-being of our patients.
  • Counsel pet owners on animal health, nutrition, behavior, and overall wellbeing to promote a strong bond between pets and their owners.
  • Interpret diagnostic tests such as x-rays, blood work, etc. and develop treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient medical records and documentation to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Assist in emergencies and provide urgent/critical care when needed to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Evaluate patient health through both conventional and alternative diagnostic approaches to provide holistic care.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in integrative veterinary medicine to ensure our patients receive the most advanced care available.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of clinical experience as a licensed veterinarian in good standing.
  • Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of AZ.
  • Strong clinical skills and sound medical judgment to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively counsel pet owners and collaborate with our team.
  • Time-management and delegation abilities to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient care.
  • Exercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skills to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with others to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
