KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Collaborate with Associate DVMs, Hospital Manager, and clinical staff to ensure the highest standards of clinical practices and medical care are upheld.
- Promote a positive and healthy workplace culture by leading through example and providing constructive feedback.
- Enhance client experience by working alongside DVMs and the Hospital Manager to resolve issues and facilitate training as necessary.
- Guide Associate DVMs and clinical personnel on clinical outcomes and best practices.
- Oversee DVM scheduling and recruitment in partnership with the Hospital Manager and Operations.
- Engage in operational and financial discussions to address hospital challenges, identify growth prospects, and support effective management and investment strategies.
- Assist in attracting and retaining talented DVMs while creating ongoing training programs.
- Contribute to regular meetings with doctors to ensure adherence to high clinical standards.
- Work closely with the Hospital Manager and Regional Operations Director to proactively identify growth and improvement opportunities for the hospital and clinical training for the team.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Valid and active veterinarian license in Arizona.
- Necessary clinical privileges and DEA license.
- 3-5 years of clinical experience.
- Previous experience as a Medical Director is preferred.
- Strong clinical acumen and sound medical judgment.
- Desire and ability to mentor and develop Associate DVM clinical skills is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent time management and delegation capabilities.
- Demonstrates sound judgment and exemplary decision-making abilities.
- Professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
