Surgical Services Nurse Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to elevate our surgical department to new heights. As the Nurse Manager, you will shape the future of our surgical services, leading a talented team of professionals and directly impacting patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead with Excellence: Oversee and inspire a team of surgical nurses and staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to drive exceptional patient care.
  • Champion Patient Care: Ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care, from pre-operative preparation to post-operative recovery. Address patient needs and concerns with compassion and efficiency.
  • Optimize Operations: Manage daily surgical department operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Drive Quality Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance surgical services, continuously utilizing data and feedback to improve patient outcomes and departmental performance.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain rigorous standards for regulatory compliance, infection control, and safety protocols.
  • Foster Collaboration: Partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to streamline processes and enhance patient care.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
  • Experience: At least five years of clinical experience in surgical services, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State]; Certification in Surgical Services (CNOR) is a plus.
  • Skills: Proven leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of surgical technologies are essential. Proficiency in EHR systems is also necessary.
