Instructor Caregiver for Day Program-Rosemead

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day Program Instructor Caregiver to join our team. As a Day Program Instructor Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in their vocational and leisure activities, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Provide emotional support and advocacy for clients, ensuring their rights and dignity are respected.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans for clients.
- 1 year of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a California Driver's License.
- Candidates must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.
- Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
