Instructor Caregiver for Day Program-Pasadena

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day Program Instructor Caregiver to join our team. As a Day Program Instructor Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their full potential.
Job Summary:The Day Program Instructor Caregiver will be responsible for creating and implementing daily routines for clients, promoting their health, safety, and well-being, and advocating for their needs. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement daily routines for clients, including visual and active supports.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathroom needs and personal care.
- Prepare and serve meals, and assist with clean-up.
- Support clients with daily living and vocational activities.
- Transport clients in company vans, as needed.
- Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes.
- Input client notes into computer programs and review IPP goals with supervisors.
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education and training.
- 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have a California Driver's License.
- Candidates must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications, including Direct Support Professional Certificate and CPI.
