Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sell and deliver snack foods to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers at customer locations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inquire about customer needs and preferences, using this information to tailor sales approaches and increase sales volume.
  • Communicate product knowledge and suggest sales opportunities to customers.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, expanding our customer base and increasing sales revenue.
  • Execute company-sponsored promotional programs, including acquiring temporary and incremental product displays, shelving, and racks.
  • Rotate and provide credit to customers for stale or damaged items, ensuring the freshest product is always available.
  • Process orders accurately, using hand-held computers to enter product codes and manage inventory.
  • Collect cash from customers and process associated invoices.
  • Manage daily inventory accuracy, ensuring that products are stocked and rotated correctly.
  • Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.
  • Must possess an excellent driving record, with no more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years and no DUIs within the past 3 years.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must pass a job-related assessment with a score of 70% or better.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
  • Must possess a stable work history with good references.
  • Must display evidence of sound judgment and the ability to adapt quickly to different work and driving conditions.
  • Must possess strong communication, persuasion, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.
