Service Technician Job Description

GPAC is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles, identifying problems using diagnostic equipment, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles.
  • Identify and diagnose problems using diagnostic equipment.
  • Explain repairs and issues to customers and provide top-notch customer service.
  • Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience.
  • Test the functionality of parts and systems.
  • Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, and other parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training.
  • ASE certifications.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
