Position Overview:

The Receiver plays a crucial role in our daily operations, overseeing the receipt of all shipments, ensuring quality control, and organizing storage in compliance with health standards. This position is essential for maintaining accurate records of incoming goods and waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily receiving operations, ensuring all deliveries meet quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas in accordance with health regulations.
  • Keep detailed logs of received items and waste.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications, with a preference for Office, Excel, and CaterXpert.
  • Availability for morning shifts, typically from 6 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility for all seven days.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in receiving and familiarity with food products.
  • Possession of a NYC Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Physical ability to navigate all kitchen areas, including food and beverage sections.
  • Capability to lift items weighing over 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring mobility, such as standing, bending, and reaching.
