Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and conduct physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform daily cycle counts of merchandise to maintain inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Verify prices and maintain price integrity to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct date-code audits to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Perform asset cycle counts to identify and address any discrepancies.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate and improve inventory management processes.
  • Participate in special projects and audits as directed by management to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Conduct weekly competitive shop and comp shop analyses to stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
  • Three years of experience in physical inventory counts with outside inventory services.
  • Knowledge and understanding of inventory audit and cycle functions, including complete audit area reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in bar-coding and real-time inventory movement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Initiative-taking, self-starting, with effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize or re-prioritize multiple projects.
  • Strong computer and administration skills, including data entry and analysis.
  • Previous experience in a retail, grocery, or warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform accurate data entry.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed.

The base pay range for this position is an hourly rate of $19.00-$22.00 per hour, with compensation determined by factors such as prior employment history, job-related knowledge, qualifications, and skills.
