Senior Foodservice Design Manager

Compass Corporate is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Foodservice Design Manager to lead our design team in creating innovative and functional foodservice and retail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of designers to deliver exceptional foodservice concepts across diverse sectors, including corporate workplaces, education, sports, and leisure industries.
- Drive the creative development of new foodservice concepts, staying ahead of industry trends to meet the evolving needs of our clients and customers.
- Manage the full design lifecycle, from concept to completion, ensuring seamless execution of design phases (SD, DD, CD, CA), utilizing Revit and/or CAD.
- Select and review foodservice equipment, leveraging AutoQuotes to align with project and client standards, while also providing expertise in equipment cost estimating.
- Review and approve manufacturer drawings, cut sheets, and equipment quotes, ensuring accuracy and feasibility with project specifications.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, including Directors and VPs, to align design strategies with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Attend and actively contribute to design and engineering meetings, presenting solutions and progress updates to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is required. Master's Degree or additional certifications are preferred.
- Extensive experience in foodservice design and kitchen equipment specifications, particularly in managing large, complex projects through all design and construction phases.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing design teams and delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential; candidates without Revit experience will not be considered.
- Expertise in KCL and AutoQuotes for equipment selection, specifications, and cost estimation.
- Strong understanding of building codes, foodservice equipment standards, and construction processes, with hands-on experience in preparing 11400 specifications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
