We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Psychiatric Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic team at Intercommunity Action I. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and adults receiving outpatient psychiatric services.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills. They will also possess a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a state-approved CNA certification course.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
  2. Deliver direct patient care, including taking vital signs and observing patient conditions.
  3. Collaborate with medical teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to State regulations and Agency policies.
  5. Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients, including proper storage and handling of medical supplies.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, both verbally and in writing.
  7. Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and coordinating transportation.
  8. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director.

Salary Information: Estimated hourly rate: $19.00 based on location and qualifications.
