Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to lead our outpatient care services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status and develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Formulate medication management options and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top-tier psychiatric care for patients
  • Prescribe or alter psychiatric medications as necessary and monitor and adjust medication regimens to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects
  • Promote mental health awareness and wellness among patients and their families through education and support

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.

Qualifications
  • Valid license as a Registered Nurse; completion of Advanced Practice Nurse Program for Clinical Nurse Specialist or Certified Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration and direct experience with outpatient communities preferred
