Position Overview:
As a Surgical Operations Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our Endoscopy Operations team, supporting two key units at our Main Campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all activities related to the efficient execution of scheduled and unscheduled surgeries and procedures.
  • Maximize utilization of allocated space based on medical requirements while prioritizing admissions and appointments.
  • Foster connections with fellow caregivers to provide outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of patient demographic data and insurance coverage for billing purposes.
  • Coordinating services and providing detailed instructions to patients and their families.
  • Managing scheduling for procedures and maintaining provider calendars.
  • Acting as a liaison with the admitting office to facilitate hospital reservations.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with experience in medical terminology, patient registration, or scheduling. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Manual dexterity for operating a PC is essential.
