About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Professional to join our team at YesCare Louisville Detention Center in Louisville, KY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the factors contributing to a patient's incompetence.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address the specific mental health issues contributing to incompetency.
  • Facilitate group and individual therapeutic interventions, such as psychotherapy and skill-building, to address mental health symptoms for the purposes of restoring competency.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on all admissions and discharges for the Competency/Restoration Unit.
  • Respond to any mental health crises that may arise during the competency restoration process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant documentation.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university in psychology or a related field.
  • Licensed in the state of employment (required) and two (2) years of experience with a Forensic population (preferred).
  • Corrections experience preferred.
