About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Volunteer Program Manager to join our team at The Food Depot. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing our robust volunteer program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead volunteer projects and initiatives, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
  • Recruit, onboard, and schedule volunteers, as well as assist with administrative tasks.
  • Implement risk management procedures, including training and screening measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • $20-$24 per hour.
Physical Environment and Working Conditions
  • Employee will spend approximately 70% of the time working in a warehouse/outdoor environment; approximately 30% of the time in an office/desk environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to walk on variable surfaces, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
