About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NFIP Compliance Officer to join our team. The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining professional statewide Floodplain Management Programs.
  • Collaborating with government agencies and the public on floodplain management.
  • Conducting Community Assistance Visits to investigate and assess compliance with the administration of the NFIP.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification.
  • Experience in conducting compliance assessments and community assistance visits.
  • Knowledge of financial management and budgeting principles.
Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and apply working knowledge of government organizations, operations, and emergency management programs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
