About the Role

The Southeast Region Business Development Manager role is responsible for acquiring new clients, supporting existing client operations, and ensuring sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand existing customer relationships to drive business growth.
  • Identify and conduct sales calls with potential clients to increase market share.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and present compelling proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Conduct annual business review meetings to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations.
  • Differentiate Phigenics services within a client account to deliver exceptional value.

Technical Requirements:

  • Develop a deep understanding of building water systems and infrastructure to provide expert guidance.
  • Familiarize yourself with water chemistry and procurement processes to make informed decisions.
  • Effectively manage contracts, samples, and equipment services to meet customer needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong people skills and presentation skills to build rapport and convey complex information effectively.
  • Show self-motivation and direction with a 'can-do' attitude to tackle challenges and achieve results.

Training and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, is required.
  • 2-5 years of job experience in a related field, including water-related experience and customer/sales experience, is preferred.

Work Environment / Travel:

This role requires traveling to client sites, leading water management team meetings, servicing equipment, and collecting water samples. Some overnight travel will be involved.
