About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Manager in Training/General Service Technician to join our team at Midas - Touch of Gold. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, overseeing vehicle inspections, and leading a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service while listening to and consulting customers, following up with customers, and discussing pricing estimates.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Oversee complete vehicle inspections, make comprehensive recommendations, and source parts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and train a team of technicians, while maintaining a clean and organized facility.
  • Technician Support: Supervise technicians' inspections, diagnosing, and repairing of domestic, European, and Asian cars and light trucks.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience is preferred but not required.
  • General automotive knowledge.
  • Excellent customer service disposition.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Leadership ability.
  • Team building skills.
  • Ability to follow directions & process.
  • Ability to use computers & software.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license.
