Program Manager

Amend at UCSF is seeking a Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of our program, you will be responsible for managing complex projects and partnerships, developing and implementing innovative interventions, and conducting robust program evaluations. You will work closely with our Research and Communications team to ensure that our impact is well-documented and broadly disseminated. This is a full-time position that requires excellent writing skills, organization, and professional communication. You will be expected to travel nationally and internationally to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative interventions to improve healthcare outcomes in correctional settings
  • Conduct robust program evaluations to assess the effectiveness of our interventions
  • Work closely with our Research and Communications team to ensure that our impact is well-documented and broadly disseminated
  • Travel nationally and internationally to achieve program goals


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice and/or public health/policy or related area and 5 or more years of directly relevant experience
  • Experience in managerial or project leadership
  • Superior professionalism and ability to partner effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Extensive skill and experience coordinating complex projects and/or partnerships


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in criminal justice and/or public health/policy or related area
  • Experience in grant writing, managing budgets, and program staff
  • Background or academic grounding in education and/or training and/or moderating small and large groups, including using remote technologies
