We are looking for a professional with experience in inspecting construction projects, particularly in the areas of water and wastewater management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and general permit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor contractor's work to ensure conformance to design contract plans, specifications, and general permit requirements.
- Track daily quantities and complete daily electronic inspection reports.
- Review payment requisitions and maintain field construction documentation and as-built drawings.
Requirements:
- 1-10+ years of experience in construction inspection, particularly in water and wastewater management.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate; AA Construction Management or apprenticeship training in Electrical/Mechanical/Plumbing preferred.
- Demonstrated inspection experience in one or more of the following categories: Utilities, Pumping Stations, Treatment Plants.
Additional Skills:
- Sediment & erosion control certifications (e.g. MDE RPC/ SHA Yellow Card).
- Certification in Temporary Traffic Control (e.g. Maryland SHA TTCMC).
- OSHA safety training.
- MARTCP, NICET, WACEL or NASSCO certifications desirable.
