We are a licensed general contractor performing civil site work in the greater Phoenix area. Our company specializes in the installation of wet and dry utilities for residential home builders. We are currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a senior accountant.

Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to our organization. You will be working closely with our internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of our business. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing monthly billings, including handling receivables and processing waivers.
  • Processing vendor invoices and conducting monthly audits.
  • Performing cost accounting, including allocating job costs and coding invoices.
  • Overseeing contract management, including setting up new jobs with cost codes in QuickBooks and facilitating change order management.
  • Tracking company assets and maintaining depreciation and amortization schedules.
  • Reconciling cashed and outstanding checks and pulling reports for forecasting.
  • Managing cost code payroll and implementing purchase orders for vendors.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field. Construction industry experience is preferred, as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related degree. Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is also required.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $85,000 per year, plus benefits including company-sponsored health and dental insurance, paid time off, and an annual performance bonus up to 10% of total salary.
