Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Financial Analyst to join our team. This role will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization, assisting in the preparation of monthly billings, vendor invoices, credit card reconciliations, cost accounting, and contract management.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate monthly billings by handling receivables, processing waivers, and overseeing the process from start to finish.
  • Input vendor invoices for audit and oversee the entire process.
  • Conduct monthly credit card reconciliations and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Coding invoices and allocating job costs according to company policies.
  • Setup new jobs with cost codes in QuickBooks, facilitate Change Order Management, and Job Closeout processes.
  • Maintain depreciation schedules and amortization schedules for both current and long-term assets.
  • Monitor and reconcile cashed and outstanding checks to prevent any discrepancies.
  • Pull reports and assist with forecasting to ensure the company's financial stability.
  • Cost code payroll and implement purchase orders for jobs with vendors.
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with managers to discuss ongoing projects and financial performance.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred, along with at least 3+ years of experience in construction accounting. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Projects, and Outlook is required. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as a general understanding of GAAP principles.
