We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Culinary Team Member to join our team at Meadow Valley, a luxury senior living community. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food according to tested recipes for residents, visitors, and employees.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of large equipment in preparation and serving areas.
  • Plan cooking schedules to ensure food is ready at serving time.
  • Maintain quality of products throughout preparation and serving by routine temperature checks and taste tests.
  • Set up food in steam tables and deliver more food as needed.
  • Maintain portion control in preparation and serving.
  • Check left-over perishables in refrigerator and freezer and arrange to use them.
Requirements
  • One to two years institutional or restaurant experience.
  • Ability to communicate with co-workers, residents, and family members.
  • Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from internal and external sources.
  • Must be proficient using Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to apply basic math skills.
