As a Roof Loader, your primary responsibility will be to manage the stocking and preparation of orders for construction materials destined for our extensive customer network. A strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork is essential. Your work environment will predominantly involve outdoor areas to fulfill customer orders. Each loading and unloading task demands meticulous attention to safety and accuracy. This role requires a high level of detail-oriented work while consistently delivering precise and repeatable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize construction materials efficiently and accurately using various equipment
  • Adhere to the daily operations schedule while remaining adaptable to customer needs
  • Work effectively under close supervision within a stable and secure team environment
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in both warehouse and yard areas
  • Make decisions within established guidelines with support from team members and management
  • Receive support and encouragement from management during time-sensitive tasks or changing conditions
  • When responsibilities change, ample time will be provided to learn new tasks thoroughly with opportunities for practice
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, achieving above-average accuracy in work quality

Job Requirements:

  • Consistent work style with a focus on repetitive tasks
  • Comply with safety standards set by company policies; safety is paramount
  • Exhibit regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
  • Capable of operating a forklift
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Must lift 80-pound bundles on steep inclines
  • Comfortable walking bundles to various locations on a roof
  • Willingness to work at heights up to four stories
  • Collaborative and agreeable listener who enjoys assisting others
  • Ability to work independently while fostering exceptional teamwork
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
