As a Roof Loader, your primary responsibility will be to manage the stocking and preparation of orders for building materials destined for a diverse customer base. Emphasizing customer service and teamwork is essential. Your work environment will predominantly involve outdoor areas to fulfill customer orders. Each loading and unloading task necessitates meticulous attention to safety and precision in order fulfillment. This role demands well-defined, detail-oriented work while ensuring consistently accurate outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize building materials efficiently and accurately using various equipment
  • Adhere to the daily operations schedule while being adaptable to customer requirements
  • Work comfortably under close supervision within a stable, supportive team
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in both warehouse and yard areas
  • Make decisions within established guidelines with the backing of team members and management
  • Receive support and encouragement from management when facing time constraints or changes in tasks
  • Be provided ample time to learn new responsibilities thoroughly, with opportunities for practice
  • Maintain a strong focus on detail, ensuring above-average accuracy in work quality

Job Requirements:

  • Consistent work style with an interest in repetitive tasks
  • Adhere to safety protocols established by company policies; safety is paramount.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
  • Capable of operating a forklift
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Able to lift bundles weighing up to 80 pounds on inclined surfaces
  • Must be able to transport bundles to different roof locations
  • Comfortable working at heights of up to four stories
  • Collaborative and attentive listener who enjoys assisting others
  • Ability to work independently while fostering exceptional teamwork
  • Flexibility to work overtime as necessary
