Job Summary

MacArthur Co., a 100% Employee-Owned company, is seeking a skilled Roof Loader to join our team. As a key member of our distribution center, you will play a critical role in stocking and preparing orders of building materials for delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently and accurately organize building materials using a variety of equipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Follow daily operations schedules, adapting to changing customer needs and priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with a stable and secure team to achieve common goals, focusing on customer satisfaction and quality service.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and yard work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Make informed decisions within established guidelines, seeking support from team members and management as needed.
  • Develop a patient and consistent work style, handling repetitive routines with attention to detail and quality.
  • Adhere to company safety policies, prioritizing a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Regularly attend work, maintaining a reliable and predictable attendance record.
  • Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures and guidelines.
  • Work in various weather conditions, lifting 80-pound bundles on steep slopes, and walking bundles to be placed on different parts of a roof.
  • Comfortably work at heights up to 4 stories high, maintaining a cooperative and agreeable attitude when working with others.
  • Work independently while supporting exceptional teamwork in a larger workgroup, demonstrating flexibility to work overtime hours as needed.
