Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and prepare building materials for distribution using a variety of equipment.
  • Follow daily operations schedules and adjust to meet customer needs.
  • Work comfortably under close supervision within a stable and secure team environment.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard work area.
  • Make decisions within clear guidelines and with support from the team and management.
  • Work effectively under time pressures and in changing situations.
  • Learn new work procedures and adapt to changes in the structure of work or scope of responsibility.
  • Maintain attention to detail and achieve better-than-average accuracy in quality of work.
Requirements
  • Patient work style with a focus on consistency and repetitive routines.
  • Follow safety expectations set by company safety policies.
  • Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
  • Able to operate a forklift.
  • Work in outside conditions in all weather.
  • Lift 80-pound bundles on steep slopes.
  • Walk bundles to be placed on different parts of a roof.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 4 stories high.
  • Cooperative and agreeable listener who gets along with others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger workgroup.
  • Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed.
