Position Overview:
ProRehab Physical Therapy, part of the Confluent Health network, is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Medical Office Receptionist - Float to enhance our team.

Work Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Compensation:
$17 per hour + Mileage Reimbursement

This position requires flexibility to cover various locations within the Louisville area (mileage reimbursement provided).

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma is mandatory.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic office skills (telephone handling, filing, data entry) along with fundamental math abilities.
- Exceptional telephone manners, a friendly demeanor, and outstanding customer service capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly.
- Previous experience in a similar capacity is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:


This pivotal role encompasses all front desk responsibilities, including delivering exceptional customer service, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, scheduling appointments, handling referrals, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and collecting payments.

Welcome and greet patients warmly.


Facilitate patient check-ins and check-outs in accordance with company protocols, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.

Respond to phone inquiries pleasantly and direct patients and others to the appropriate personnel or department.

Accurately register patients and establish patient accounts within an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.

Efficiently coordinate patient appointments for both new and returning patients.


Perform routine administrative tasks promptly, including preparing patient charts/documents, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, data entry, and payment collection.

Complete opening and closing procedures along with other assigned tasks.

Exhibit exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
