Job Overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Arborist Crew Manager in our environmental operations department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading crews in daily production requirements, ensuring accurate payroll and revenue information, and promoting positive enforcement of company policies and procedures.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge and expertise in arboriculture, while supporting the growth and development of our crew leaders. Your experience and skills will play a crucial role in achieving operational priorities and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead crews in daily production requirements, ensuring efficient and effective execution of tasks.
  • Provide accurate payroll and revenue information to the General Foreman or designee.
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety protocols, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Support crew leaders in achieving maximum results in operational priorities.
  • Oversee all OSHA and ANSI standards, ensuring compliance and adherence to regulations.
  • Assist the General Foreman with equipment repairs, maintenance scheduling, and bidding processes.
  • Communicate daily with the General Foreman on crew activity, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Crew Leader or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including customers, employees, and corporate personnel.
  • Met qualifications of a Crew Leader, with emphasis on leadership and management skills.
  • Well-groomed and professionally dressed, with ability to represent the company in a positive light.
  • Will travel, potentially overnight, for business purposes.
  • Possess Herbicide Applicators or Operators Certification license, ISA certification, and/or other required certifications.
  • Understand that hours of service may exceed those of a standard Crew Leader.
  • Computer literate, with ability to read maps and navigate software applications.
  • Physically able to walk utility lines, both on and off the road.
  • Hold a valid driver's license, CDL, and/or medical certificate required for operated vehicles.
  • Able to obtain First Aid and CPR cards.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test and job duty skills tests.
Salary

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
