This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Global Risk Solutions' Large Loss Commercial Claims Division. The ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction to all departments, ensuring a culture of excellence, transparency, and timeliness in claims handling.
Key Responsibilities- Provide sound claim handling support to Commercial Adjusters, ensuring optimal handling of all claims and investigating issues as needed.
- Oversee incoming problems and complaints, responding to consumer affairs and regulatory bodies.
- Embody the GRS culture, collaborating with other functions and locations to drive excellence.
- Determine training curriculum for Commercial/LLU claims department employees.
- Provide statistical data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
- Guide the QA department in Commercial Claims, ensuring compliance with Service Level Objectives.
- Develop and implement new claims processes, focusing on speed, customer experience, and cost minimization.
- Integrate new technology to support key metrics and drive business growth.
- Monitor program effectiveness, utilizing open claim file reviews to ensure compliance.
- Forecast staffing requirements and resolve issues effectively, scheduling employee attendance for commercial claims.
- Provide direction on IT projects related to Commercial/LLU Claims.
- Assist in reviewing and completing RFP submissions for Commercial/LLU business.
- Maintain professional relationships with commercial daily claims carrier points of contact.
- Attend industry trade shows and meetings to support business development.

This Manager/Director will lead and manage all Commercial Large Loss employees and adjusters with Claims responsibilities, working closely with the Training, HR, Billing/Finance, and Business Development teams.
Work EnvironmentWork location will be determined and may be in office (when necessary) or remote at the discretion of management or based on department needs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position, with specific workdays to be assessed based on volume of work, but not falling below 5 days in a standard work week.Travel
This position may require up to 15% travel, but can be more in CAT situations.
